Each amendment or article taken from our founding documents will be quoted as it was written, no paraphrasing or personal interpretations will be given, only the TRUTH. There was a time when this was the responsibility of our public school system but unfortunately do to "political correctness" and "revisionism". that has changed.

The Constitution is not difficult to read or understand: it is those who want it to fit their own agendas that make it difficult and confusing.

The Constitution is not a "living document" as I have heard politicians say. It was not designed to change with the times, instead it was designed to set a standard in governance "for all times" in order to protect the PEOPLE and to not give unchecked power to the government and those in government.

Thomas Jefferson said it best, quote, "The Constitution was designed to stop tyranny by controlling government and putting the power in the hands of the people."

Thomas Jefferson and all our founding fathers understood how people in power could corrupt our system and that is why the Constitution in its true form is as important today as it was over 200 years ago.
